I am licensed as a Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario and I am excited to be practicing in Whitby, my hometown. Prior to obtaining my degree in Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), I obtained my Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences at the University of Ontario, Institute of Technology. I have since furthered my education through the completion of an elective, 2-year clinical residency at CCNM. By taking a patient-centred approach to care, I work with you to sustainably achieve your health and wellness goals, including you at every step of the decision making process. My priority is to create a safe space for open communication and collaboration, because your journey to wellness begins with a trusting therapeutic partnership. I strive to know you as a person, not just your symptoms, so that I can better understand how all factors in your life may be impacting your health and to identify the root cause of your concerns. This also allows me to individualize treatments, educate you on your options and advocate for your healthcare so that you can make well-informed decisions for your health. I use naturally occurring substances not only to address your concerns, but also to help support your body in it's own healing and encourage prevention of future illness. I will always respect your unique healing process by applying the various naturopathic treatment options individually based on your values, needs and preferences. I currently maintain a general family practice, in which I focus in supporting and treating mental health concerns (anxiety, insomnia, depression and stress) and digestive health issues (constipation, diarrhea, IBS, gas, bloating, heartburn).
