Nicole Meier is a Naturopathic Doctor and the Founder of Cornerstone Health Centre - an integrative eco-health centre located in Georgetown, Ontario. Nicole has been practicing naturopathic medicine since graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (2002) in Toronto. Her undergraduate degree was granted in 1992 from Trent University (Honors B.Sc.). With an interest in botanical medicine, Nicole went on to study with herbalist Walter Kacera and completed a certificate in Therapeutic Herbalism (David Hoffman) in 1996. Nicole began to expand her scope to mind-body medicine in 1997 with continuing education at the Bensen-Henry Institute at Harvard Medical School. Finding a philosophical fit with functional medicine, she became a regular symposium attendee in 2007 and member of the Institute for Functional Medicine in 2011. Currently, Nicole is a candidate for the Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner program graduating in 2014.
