I am humbled to work, live and play in North Bay, ON which sits on the Anishinabek territory, on lands occupied by the peoples of Nipissing and Dokis First Nations whose aboriginal and treaty rights are recognized by the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850 and affirmed by Section 35 (1) of the Constitution Act of Canada, 1982. This land acknowledgement is one small  way in which I act to honour those treaties in stewardship and sharing of this land and work to make the promise and challenge of reconcilliation true across all of Turtle Island.
