Dr. Ashley Girard, N.D. is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, and a graduate of the four-year degree program from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). After working for a family doctor I discovered medicine was my calling. In university I learned about the incredible impact of whole foods and exercise on disease, ultimately inspiring me to pursue naturopathic medicine. I was granted a Bachelor of Science (Honours B.Sc.) from McMaster University in 2008. While studying, I worked as a vitamin and supplement consultant in the health food industry. I was very involved with the student body and academic administration at the CCNM. During my clinical internship I was selected for the Brampton Civic Hospital Shift and the Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Focus Shift. I have experience treating a wide variety of health concerns, and additional expertise regarding pain management and urinary tract diseases. I am passionate about educating my patients, finding root causes of disease, and inspiring change leading to a healthier and happier life.
