After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph, Leslie graduated from the four-year naturopathic medical program at CCNM (Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine). She completed a two-year residency and is currently an associate professor at CCNM providing instruction in pediatrics, philosophy and clinical medicine. She also supervises the clinical practice of fourth year interns at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. Leslie has been honoured twice for Excellence in Academic Instruction. As the mother of two children, Leslie has a special interest in family medicine and pediatrics and approaches health with simple strategies. She favours nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy and lifestyle counselling to promote the optimal conditions for health. Her goal is to empower her clients to make positive shifts in their own lives. Leslie is also an avid athlete and proponent of physical activity. Leslie is a member in good standing with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy (BDDT-N) - the regulatory body of naturopathic medicine in Ontario. She also maintains membership with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors (APND) and sits on the Board of the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PedANP).
